I began taking guitar lessons at CMA with William Harrison at the beginning of April, and I’ve loved every lesson! I was hesitant to start formal lessons for a long time, but I’m so glad I finally did. Since then, I’ve noticed an immense improvement in both my guitar skills and my confidence.
William has been an incredible teacher. He’s patient, encouraging, and always motivates me to practice and do my best. Gustavo is an incredible instructor. It has been such a great fit right from the beginning. A perfect balance of instruction, guidance and encouragement. As an adult learner of the cello, I was eager for this to be a fun experience where I try something new. I knew my learning would be different from that of a younge student, and it is the teacher that has to adjust to make the moment the best for each person. Gustavo does that every time we meet. Grateful to be learning with him!
Norma Dieterlen is a very talented pianist and teacher and her love and passion for the musical arts is incredibly special. She is an encouragement to me and always knows how to get my mind thinking on the right track. She notices the little things and helps me correct them and it seems like it's pretty much instinct to her at this point because of how well she knows music. It's been a delightful experience learning here, especially through her.
