General is the best company for heating or cooling needs, stopping everything to come to the aid if the system is having issues. They are locally owned and located nearby, offering fast service and repairs, like fixing a heating pump. They were able to make a service call the next day despite a packed schedule. For a 20-year-old furnace and AC condenser, they estimated what it would take to fix and let the customer know about redundant costs. They gave a fair price for new installation and worked through dinner to get everything installed. They also helped resolve a damper issue blocking airflow that big companies could not adjust. Very satisfied and will always go with this company for any needs.

When my AC condenser stopped working, I went with General Heating & Cooling because they are locally owned and some of the larger companies nearby had tried to screw me in previous years. Because they are located nearby and offer Solon air conditioning repairs, they were able to make a service call the next day (despite a packed schedule).

They're finishing up a new furnace and water heater install for me as I type this. It's quite refreshing to find a contractor these days who isn't out to screw you. General Heating generally wants to help you have a good experience, and the excellent price is definitely an added benefit. I've absolutely found my HVAC go to for life.
