About 13 months ago, I injured my shoulder and arm from bad gas I bought i at the Ameris top in fortunately I had a great lady named Laney to help you get this problem resolved when I went to see Laney my shoulder and arm was so messed up. I thought it would never be right again. She gave me a few exercises to do. After about six months, my arm and shoulder loosened up again I can’t thank her enough for being the professional that she truly is. I feel blessed for everything you’ve done to help me to get my arm back together again if you need help with your arm and shoulder go down there she is a miracle worker My wife is seeing her. I have been working with Jacob since December 2024 for post concussion syndrome with severe vertigo and migraines. Jacob is very focused and has helped me tremendously the last 5 months. Not only did he finally get my vertigo cleared, he has worked hard on providing me lots of solutions to help provide me relief. Last week he did muscle blading again on my neck, upper and lower back and while that is painful and exhausting I have had 3 days free of a headache! I am bruised and sore but it clearly works! Next we are trying dry needling in conjunction with Botox injections from my neuro to help those areas affected with my concussion. I highly recommend this PT unit!
I am still in process of receiving PT at this facility. I already have spent over 2 months here. I am healing from surgery on my shoulder. Now I must start by saying,,, I HATE THE IDEA OF PHYSICAL THERAPY. I have seen my fair share of PT over my many years for various reasons. I have been treated poorly, ignored, prodded, poked and left on my own doing exercises not knowing if what I was doing was right, or for that matter watch my progression. With that being said,,, the therapist at MVHPT on Stroop Road are very professional, attentive, caring and genuinely concerned about your progression in healing. I have the same therapist everytime I go there so she knows exactly how I am feeling. She asks all the right questions, stays in the room and actually watches me. Listens to me. I have a very labor intensive job with heavy lifting and a lot of repetitive movements. My therapist, Jamie, has cleverly reconfigured some of the exercises to mimic exactly what I do at work so I will be ready when released to full duty. Now that, I say, is someone who does her job well. I also want to add that even on my cranky in pain down days the conversation is great, with laughter or common interest or current events. I guess the only downfall is, you lose count when exercising. But she watches, the job gets done and right. This is no assembly line shop. All the personnel including the receptionists are truly nice people. I recommend this place exclusively.
