It took awhile to find a place for my son to take guitar lessons but this place has been wonderful. They matched him with a teacher and Gene has been great! Highly recommend Gene and McCutchen Music
Jim McCutcheon is a genius instructor and ambassador for music in this region. Great teaching staff and interesting inventory with lots of classical and acoustics, not so many electrics but a LOT of sheet music esp. for guitar players. They have been there for around 40 plus years and keep offering more. Highly recommended over the big box retailers for its bandwidth that somewhat excludes tons of electric gear. Orchestral music and repair shop...any orch or wind instrument, they can get or have. tons of parking in a great part of Big D
