Very pleasant experience. I had a broken tooth and my insurance ending the next day. Dr Starkey talked through my options and we settled on a filling to hold me over until I can get a crown. I’m not sure if another dentist would have worked with me like that. She not only did the filling same day but was also willing to remove some mercury from another tooth that was missed (by a different dentist). She also talked me through every step, explained what was happening in the moment. When I shared that my heart was racing she explained that the numbing agent can do that and it’ll only lasts about 20 minutes, which helped my dental anxiety a ton. I'm surprised I have not written a review already! I initially found Alex Bell Dental because I was looking for a dentist to remove my amalgam filing a few years ago. I have been taking my kiddoes for their cleanings for a couple of years, and they do great with them. Jackie(hygienist) is fabulous and makes the kids super comfortable and makes the experience fun! Dr. Starkey is so kind and understanding and does an amazing job - I finally got my amalgam removed after having to reschedule 3 or 4 times for personal reasons. It was much less intimidating than I imagined, everything went smoothly and I'm so glad to have that out of my mouth! I've had nothing... read full review

I have dental anxiety. This office is the first place I have felt comfortable in over ten years. The staff is comforting and knowledgeable. I have never had a negative experience here. I recommend this office to everyone.
