From Judy in the office, to Steve and his crew (Gavin and Brian) who carefully removed all the old flooring types, meticulously leveled all the rooms and expertly installed our new walnut floors - they all did a great job. Excellent communications through out and just a great group of folks to work with. We had received quotes from several firms and upfront felt most comfortable with MDG from the get-go. They were very thorough in surveying the house prior to providing the quote, which was competitive, and their attention to detail swayed us to use them for first time - and we are so happy we did. “I would have given Mike and his crew ten stars if possible. We hired Mike to finish the basement and redo the stairway of our new home. One of the best decisions we have ever made. Mike is a true craftsman along with being a true gentleman (as was his entire crew). I had never met Mike prior to my wife and I hiring him to transform our basement. The workmanship was nothing less than perfect. Combine this with honesty, politeness and an expert in his craft, I really don't think you will find anyone better. We have hade numerous homes and had a lot of work done on our various houses. I am more detailed than most people and there was nothing about Mike's work that could be improved. His work was by far the best of any contractor we had used in the past. He showed up on time every day, he worked until his daily duties were completed, he cleaned up his worksite every day. The value, craftmanship, professionalism and just being a great guy is a rare combination to find today.
