I asked when I called to make an appointment to check if my furnace was worth fixing since it is over 25 years old. The first guy came out and just cleaned it. That cost me $105.00. I asked him what the condition the furnace is in and he couldn't tell me. The second guy came the next day and I told him before he started the check the furnace condition. He fixed the furnace and then told me that the has to condemn my furnace due to large holes in the combustion chamber and he had to shut off the gas. This cost me $221.50. Allen Refrigeration goes out of there way to steal you money.

Mr. Allen was wonderful but now his son took over and the customer service has gone down hill! I had an appalling experience with them. They advertise 24 hour service but when my mother's 3 year old furnace (purchased and installed by Allen) failed this Sunday, they refused to send anybody out. They also couldn't be bothered to install the new thermostat that was to come with the furnance, they left it in a box on her table. When she had an issue with the furnace in under a year, they charged her $90.00 but had no answer as to what went wrong. Terrible!! If you see this, please do not waste your time or money on Allen's!!!!!
