“I highly recommend Mold Testers LLC for mold remediation. Several years ago, we had a rainwater event along two walls of our basement that was taken care of, at the time, by a simple fix to our drainage system. Though the floor and carpet (mold/mildew-resistant) in that part of the basement had long since dried, mold did develop along the two baseboards and had continued a few inches under the carpet. Two bookcases and a shelving unit were also affected, including two shelffuls of books and several fabric cubes and their contents. Both owner Greg and certified mold remediator Tomas were very understanding of our concerns about not only the mold but also the spores that could be released during remediation. Tomas visited our home and thoroughly explained what he would do, including sealing and removing the moldy books and other trash; disinfecting items that could be moved to the other side of the basement; building a safe containment area that would keep spores out of the rest of the basement as he worked inside this area using a negative air fan/scrubber with HEPA filters; decontaminating items that remained in the containment area (including the walls and ceiling); painting 6” up the walls with a waterproofing sealer to prevent future mold growth; and fogging the whole house with an anti-microbial/anti-bacterial product (100% biodegradable, no-rinse, no-residue, no odor) that is used in hospitals, nursing homes, daycares and schools, on cribs, carseats, wheelchairs, etc. With all the precautions Tomas took and the meticulousness with which he worked, we were very happy with the job he did for us. During my initial phone call to Mold Testers, Greg had suggested we call other companies for their assessments and estimates, which we did. Hands down, we found Mold Testers LLC to be the most reasonable and its people the most trustworthy, conscientious and genuine.“
