K9 Guide Dog Training is a small family business that specializes in expert dog training, providing lifetime support and excellent client service. Their experienced and balanced trainers help clients and their dogs reach their highest potential, serving the Northeastern OH area. The trainers at K9 Guide are knowledgeable, dedicated, and enthusiastic, using positive and encouraging methods to get results. They have helped many dogs, including those with reactivity issues, become well-behaved and obedient. Their board program and in-home lessons have made a big difference in the behavior of the dogs, transforming them from chaotic to well-mannered. Two sessions in and I am convinced that Collin is some sort of wizard. Our dogs are completely different, and the training style finally makes sense. Other trainers use only positive, or only negative. Understanding why both are important has gotten me to completely buy in to the training. And I'm telling you, the first time Collin comes to your house and trains your dogs, you will be entranced.
Had a privilege meeting Yana 3 years ago when she came over to a dog training seminar we conducted at our facility. That weekend was special for me. Back then I was a young dog trainer in the beginning of my career and Yana joined me for a few lessons I had with my clients. I have learned so much in such a short time with Yana that her approach and knowledge has helped me shaped my way as a dog trainer. Since then i had more opportunities to work and learn from Yana in different seminars and some class and even FaceTime sessions with her discussing approaches where I can learn more and help my client in some serious behavioral cases.

If you are looking for people who love your dog like you do, these are your trainers! Kobe spent 4 weeks at board and train and even though we missed him terribly, he came back calmer and confident in what he learned. Yana, Collin, and Jimmie get to know your pup and work to bring out the best in them. We got updates and pictures throughout the training and really liked the follow up home training sessions once Kobe came home. It was probably harder to train us than it was Kobe! The Alumni Classes are great for refreshing and extending the training- and Kobe LOVES to see his trainers at the events. I recommend K9 Guide Dog Training without reservation.
