My mother passed away last Tuesday and I went to Flynn Memorial Home on Central Ave the following day with my father and uncles. It was a very difficult time for us and the professionalism and composure when we met with Jack put us at ease. We went through the many list of options (embalming, transportation, pallbearers, transportation, flowers, memorial cards, casket, etc) and Jack thoroughly answered our questions and concerns. Jack took care of the obituary the same evening. The funeral service was on Sunday and the facility setup was outstanding, my mother looked beautiful and the guests were taken care of during the service. My father’s viewing was yesterday, he was PERFECT he looked like he was just sleeping. Very well dressed and his haircut was wow. Thanks to Michael, Natalie & Tom. You guy did an incredible service we appreciate you very much.

Like it or not, everyone has to face the mortality of a loved one at sometime.Yesterday we laid our Mom to rest. I cannot say enough good things about Flynn Memorial Home on Central Ave in Yonkers. Jim, Mike and the rest of the staff were all wonderful. Their compassion and professionalism made a difficult situation for us managable. My Mom looked beautiful. It was obvious Mom was treated with care and love. Everything went so smoothly from start to finish.We knew some of the procedures as we lost our Dad almost 2 years ago. The way we were assisted back then made our choice of a Memorial Home a very easy decision. There was no question we were going back to Flynn.... read full review
