I have been to many wakes in my life but today was my sister Jean's funeral. I cannot express how beautiful she looked. Everyone who came in stopped to say omg she looks beautiful. Thank you Gleason's to ALL of you from Pam to James and especially the ppl we do not meet that made her beautiful.
I lost my mother on New Years Day and what was an absolutely unexpected and traumatizing loss, the staff at Martin A Gleason (Whitestone) was there to carry out all of her/my wishes without fail. The facilities were beautiful, the staff professional and courteous, and they made sure that everything I asked for they delivered upon beyond my expectations. Her hair and make up were absolutely remarkable and my mother looked beautiful. My father was laid to rest at Gleason's in 2014. The staff was so warm, compassionate, and helpful. We were in grief and numb at the time, not knowing what to do first. They stepped in and not only directed us, but also made us feel at ease. Additionally, the home is clean, spacious and provided a sense of comfort. I highly recommend Gleason's.
