I’ve been a customer of Mayflower since long before I lived in the area. I was pretty shocked to learn that Mary and her staff were no longer there and honestly perplexed that the new (I assumed) owners didn’t want to answer the questions of customers in the salon that day. It’s not that their answers were just curt or rude, sometimes they acted like they couldn’t hear them! A simple “Under new management” sign would have helped. Instead the walls are now covered with pricing, product advertisements, and service descriptions. A very different vibe from the years when Mary was in charge. I'm THINKING there is somewhere out there that will give me a decent manicure/pedicure without having to instruct the professionals on what they missed. This is a good place but not that place. Nice atmosphere.

This salon does pretty good manicures. I like the way they shape my nails and my gel color/shellac 7day polish always comes out looking good and lasts long. The 7 day polish is the same price as the regular polish which is nice. For a small salon, the gel polish and the 7 day polish colors are limited. I often find myself getting the same color because they don't have too many colors to choose from.
