Excellent massage service.
Update: store closed leaving customers with unused massage credits. Corporate felt that driving 3 hours each way to use massage credits at the nearest location in operation was acceptable.
Do not use or trust this company. They sold gift cards up-to the day they suddenly closed their doors. Now corporate will call you and tell you that you are out of luck. They said maybe if I'm on vacation I can use my gift card. Unbelievable!!! They have no other locations within 100 miles. Take your chances but I will never again. Support local therapists. This company is trash.
This place had a promising beginning several years ago (with a friendly staff and talented therapists), but in the spring of 2023, they were in freefall. They were doing their best to hide internal turmoil from their membership, but the writing was on the wall. Appointments were being canceled/rescheduled left and right as staff fled. There was no way for members to use their monthly packages because, with virtually no therapists, there were no available appointment slots without booking six to eight weeks in advance. Then, with absolutely no warning, they abruptly closed altogether. No refunds of unused/accumulated packages, just the lame message that members could still redeem unused packages at other locations (none within 100 miles though) within the next 90 days, after which they'd expire altogether. I imagine there were plenty of members like me who lost many hundreds of dollars in credit when they closed. Shame on me for letting my credits accumulate, but shame on the management of Hand and Stone for not having made things right with loyal members who were prevented from using their credits or getting even a partial refund. I realize that reviewing this location, now that it's closed, is rather moot. But if it happened here, it can happen at any affiliate location, and be advised -- "corporate" won't lift a finger to accommodate you for your losses.
