“Everyone knows that Italian barbershop are the best. The legend Salvatore "Sam" Polito cut my hair for 40 years and I never had a bad haircut. But one day I stumbled into Mike's barber shop. Mike is a super nice Ukrainian man and after going to him for a year (now 5 years) I must admit that he is even better than my compari Sam Polito. How can this be? Well Mike is just a gifted hair cutter. Yes I said GIFTED! He is also a very gentle soul and since I am 25% Ukrainian we have things to talk about, like Ukey food such as pyrohy(pierogi's), holobsti (stuffed cabbage), and borscht. But I digress.The bottom line is that Mike is the best barber I ever saw. You do not even have to tell him what you want...he just knows. Everyone walks out looking terrific and his prices are very reasonable. I pray for Ukraine to survive the Russian onslaught. I didn't have cash and didn't know it was cash only. The gentlemen cutting my hair I didn't catch his name but was older and had glasses offered me me to not owe him anything for the cut.

I of course didn't feel comfortable with that so I left to get the cash + tip for him, but that gesture alone landed them a repeat customer :)
