Castle Point VA Medical Center provides outstanding care, with staff who are phenomenal, friendly, competent, and concerned with veteran health. The hospital is second to none, offering great care at all levels, including a best-in-class dental clinic. There are never long waits at appointments, even at urgent care. The staff are very courteous, compassionate, and listen to concerns, addressing them with sound medical advice. Patients have had great experiences with primary care, ortho, hematology, pharmacy, urgent care, and community care, met with professionalism, respect, and quality care. Questions are answered timely and professionally, making it one of the best VA facilities for the best care.
I have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The problem is the physicians change to frequently, you get one you like and a couple appointments later it's a new doctor.....you have to start over getting comfortable with the new doctor that won't be there the following year 😉
We have had increasingly improved care. For 15 years coming to the facility, we have found wonderful staff, providers and services. Granted that the in hospital care was thin, the doctors found the right solutions. Appointment wait time is long as is anywhere even outside the facilities. I am exceedingly grateful for the care provided to my Veteran . (As an aside, as the Veterans wife, I too am shown appreciation by the staff and physicians.)
I can't even begin to express my gratitude for the Doctors and Nurses at Castle Point. They have taken care of me beyond all expectations. I highly recommend this Medical Center to all veterans. Thank you so much for all your support and kindness!
