This place is magical in every way. The owner, Amy, and Otter, the resident Priestess, are the nicest and most welcoming people we met. We were on vacation in Troy and this shop was on my list of places to check out. Their selection is amazing!
They have everything from Oracle and Tarot decks to journals, crystals, apothecary items, decor-- you name it. The store is gorgeous and the prices are very reasonable. I was lucky enough to snag one of the Mystery Divination boxes and it was so much better than I even expected! I won't spoil the surprise but highly recommend you get one if they're in stock.

I also had the pleasure of receiving a one-hour reading with Ami, and it was nothing short of incredible. As my first reading ever, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Ami made me feel immediately at ease. She offered deep clarity, insight, and helped me realign with my intentions in a way that felt both grounding and empowering. I'm so grateful for the experience and will definitely be returning.

Star and Splendor is truly a treasure in Troy. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a calming energy and a beautifully arranged space full of meaningful and unique items—tarot decks, crystals, journals, candles, and all kinds of metaphysical tools that speak to both the curious and the experienced. It’s clear that everything in the store is chosen with care and intention.
