My son is a client of Accent he has 24 hour care very lucky if he gets 10 hours a day sometime he has been on his own for 24 hours.
Yesterday was the final straw no one even came in (Christmas) he had a star ride to go to Uncles for Dinner but couldn’t go,same thing with Thanksgiving no one came in.
He misses Dr’s appointment’s most importantly is his appointments with ALS clinic,he has even gone their with blanket wrapped around him,so ALS center knows this company.
Want to change companies but his coordinator from Disabilities in Albany seems to be not very good either.

I shouldn't even give one star. My partner was involved in a serious accident at work. 13 fractured ribs , internal bruising, lung damage
He was in ICU for 2 weeks. Released from ReHab May 14, with Dr's orders for visiting Nurse. 2 x a week. In those 3 weeks we only saw 1 nurse, calling was a nightmare. No one could give a straight answer. Then we were told he was scheduled for only one. Our Nurse coordinator. was very displeased, not to mention the pain my partner was in.
Their Patients are NOT this companies top priority !! And when the nurse came today after numerous phone calls to Accent, we were told he isn't on the list for next week or the week after...read full review
