“I got premium vinyl flooring installed in my condo a few months ago, but haven't had the time to post a review. Overall I am very pleased with the job Diego and his team did. Maria was pleasant to work with as well ( very responsive). I am certain the floors will last for a very long time. There were a few details we both missed during the final walkthrough. I didn't notice that there was missing caulking with the shoe molding in the some of the closets. I'm sure if I caught it during the walkthrough it would have been taken care of.“

“American Hardwood resurfaced the original 1929 red oak floors in our new home back in September and we could not be happier. They patched/repaired a few holes and cut outs then sanded and restained them. Previously each room had faded to a different color so the transformation was dramatic. The work was completed quickly and communication was thorough. I'd recommend them if you're looking to complete this type of work. This is something as important as a fresh coat of paint and the character of our home has been restored.“

“I had a great experience with Diego and his crew. So much so that I plan to use him for our future remodeling projects and have him as my first recommendation to friends and family.

Scope of work was remodeling our kitchen (backsplash, countertops, conversion of microwave above stovetop to a proper hood) while also reusing our existing cabinets, redoing our flooring, installing a butler pantry, painting the walls, installing new recessed lights, etc.

Craftsmanship was really good. I’m a bit anal to details, so if anything was off, Diego and crew were super responsive about correcting anything (we’re all human). And this is a huge point, they always wanted the final outcome to be as close to perfect as possible and were receptive to feedback or adjustments. As our project progressed, it was really great to hear suggestions from not only Diego, but his crew, on things that could make our project nicer. Things come together with those little details. An example of this was in the butler pantry they were building for us to include an extra recessed light which sounds like something minor but had a huge impact on the aesthetic. Point being they seem to care and want the project to have the best possible outcome.

Cost was reasonable and most important it didn’t run over. When we wanted to make change orders (which we made several), the pricing remained fair and accurate.

Communication was good. If I had questions I was able to text or call Diego. Never had any issues on this front.

Job site care was great. They respected our home, and really took care to keep the work area super clean. They closed off the work area and paid attention to minimize dust going to the rest of the house.“
