SHAMPOO is My favorite salon ever!!! I’ve been going to Shampoo, since they were across the street from where they are now. I’ve moved to Florida, but whenever I came to visit my family on Staten Island, I ’ll go to get my hair done at this clean, friendly, and professional salon. I now live on State Island again, so Ana is the person my granddaughter and I go to, she’s, my girl. I not only trust her with our hair, but she’s a humble and beautiful person inside and out. Everyone there is good at what they do. The person in charge, Eddie, is a wonderful person as well. I Just want to respectfully make a comment on Ms. Tavane Buchanan, who commented earlier. Please don’t take it personal, as the person in charge he was just doing his job. They do ask to see your hair because remember, they are professionals, therefore, they need to see what they’re working with. Also, they check to see which worker is available to take the next customer, that’s the reason why we don’t spend all day in the salon, as in other salons. I must also say that They’re not expensive. Please note that they do not want to offend the same people that are giving them business.

I've been going to shampoo for over ten years. Eddie and his staff are exceptional. It's never a long wait and upon my observation. all stylist who works there does an excellent job. The same individual (Anna) did my hair each time I went there. Always attentive and caring and professional. Since I moved from Staten Island to Tennessee, I've never found no salon that did my hair as satisfyingly good. I missed 'Shampoo' a whole lot. Can't wait to visit New York just to go to Shampoo. We need you guys 'SHAMPOO' down here in Knoxville Tn. I talk about how we need a salon like you. Missed all of you and hope all is well.
