Have been coming here for years. Took a long break and just got back into it a couple months ago. Competed a placed all times!! Very old school way of teaching. No talking, laughing or fooling around in the class. (Which is a good thing considering you don't want to get hurt). Felix has been doing this for about 30 years and I understand why. I would definitely recommend parents, students to give him a chance. Also, if you're a beginner looking to move up the ladder in the judo world and get into big competitions this is the school for you.

I trained for two years at Combat Sambo Center and feel that it is the best place around for complete self defense classes. They offer a combined package of kickboxing, Sambo and Judo. I am in the best shape of my life and I am over 40 years old.

My wife trained at the Combat Sambo Center with her friend for a year. She felt that she needed to take self defense just in case she ran into a problem in a parking lot or on the street. She used to be nervous to go shopping at the mall at night but today she is not. She has taught me some of what she learned. I am going to take Sambo classes in a month from now.
