    Can't say enough about the attendants and the care hey provide for my In laws! Always on time and they always go above and beyond its to the point that my father in law wants them to stay all the time. And the front office is polite and respectful to our needs every time we call.

    I used this service years ago for my dad and it was great! They sent a wonderful, hardworking aide that really helped in my dad's recovery. Unfortunately however, when I had to use them again just recently, things changed for the worse. My mom was in the hospital for renal failure and needed a lot of help overnight. One of the aides assigned to my mom slept half the shift and when my mom had to wake her for help, she seemed bothered. One of the PCA's came in to the room to ask my mom if she needed a snack (my mom is diabetic) and the aide said "I'll have one please" and proceeded to get a sandwich, cake and a drink. I had to pay up front for 3 days upon hiring them. They are $23 per hour and you pay for the 10 hr shift, so $690 was quickly taken from my bank account. After complaining about the service, the administrator was extremely apologetic and very nice. She told me she would refund me that one shift, which sadly I never received. No weeks later I am receiving bills in the mail for the $690 again!!! Outrageous!! This company is very unorganized in their billing dept. I also think they need to start doing surprise visits of their aides overnight!! I was warned not to hire them by hospital staff, who told me that they always sleep! I didn't want to believe it since my first experience was great. Such a shame!! Never again!!

    I love working at Safeharbor. Going to work isn't really like going to work, its so enjoyable. I love it here!

    I've used Safe Harbor for several months for 4 hours a day M - F. I had a few problems with aides...1 spent an hour eating her breakfast and talking about how great she was and then decided the case was too hard for her and gave us 1 day notice...another aide spent the entire day on her google phone and lied about feeding my father..and then you had the "no shows." At times, the coordinator would pull aides from our home to do "favors" for other clients (as told to us by the aides.) We finally found an aide that was good and took care of my father and when I called to complain that the coordinator did not try and get us a one-day replacement, even though the coordinator had over a week's notice to do so, my father's case was dropped by Safe Harbor. The coordinator then went on to lie to our Hospice Provider and the aide by saying that we (the client) no longer wanted service from Safe Harbor. Obviously, complaining about something you have the right to complain about is a reason to be dumped by the agency. In addition to writing bad reviews, I plan on writing every single agency and association that governs or has any connection with home care services.
