My son went for vocal lessons at Richmond Music center. I found his instructor to be very professional, extremely knowledgeable and patient as was all of his staff. We felt very welcome and comfortable at this establishment. By far the best music center we have attended!

I went for lessons at Richmond Music Center for singing and guitar lessons, and also bought a guitar there when I was younger. My instructors, Jillian for singing and Jenny for guitar, are both very patient, and bring a real excitement to the music lessons. Jillian endured teaching me how to sing when I was really into country, and Jenny taught me to play some of my favorite songs by Fall Out Boy and Green Day during my angsty teen phase. Both helped me grow in my confidence and I had a lot of fun while doing them.In addition to the quality of the lessons, the different people at the center became like family. The owner, Joe, almost always came out to greet us while we waited. He's a really chill, mellow kind of guy. A woman named Linda worked at the counter and she would joke with us before lessons. Jillian and Jenny were just plain awesome.Overall, I would definitely recommend this business. If you go for lessons, you will definitely get quality instructors skill-wise, and all of them are very patient and good with children, so you won't have a musical genius who hates you or your kid. While you are there, you get treated like you are family.Even if you don't need lessons, but need some supplies, they have a lot of stuff in stock.Even after I took lessons, I still went there in high school to get stuff for my clarinet and bass clarinet.
