We visited this eye clinic today with our child and were very happy with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, kind, and professional. The doctor was incredibly attentive and made our child feel comfortable throughout the visit. We truly don’t understand the negative reviews — our experience was excellent. Thank you to the whole team for your care and compassion!

I truthfully cant believe all the bad reviews. Dr Derespenis is the most amazing eye doctor. He did my eye surgery as a little girl and saved me so much heartache and gave me so much confidence back. When it was time to take my daughter for her first eye doctor visit, I felt so at ease knowing he was still in practice. He is a master of his craft- and arguably the best eye doctor on the island/in New York.. so OF COURSE the wait time for appointments can be long. Sure, you may wait a while in the waiting room as well.. but that's because he spends so much time with every patient and has mastered his attention to detail. Love him and the office so much!

I see this place has some poor reviews but I have had a great experience so far. My 2.5 yr old daughter has had 2 appts and she absolutely loves Dr. Dye. I've never seen her listen so well to anyone. Also the staff have all been very nice. I had a question after my last visit and they gave me a call back very quickly with an answer. Also the wait time was good (only upside of covid). I travel from BK and it's worth the toll price!
