My husband and I tried to renovate our bathroom. We watch way too much DIY TV. We must have been out of my minds thinking that we can create that we imagined. So I searched for a reputable contractor. I found a few but one company stood out more than the others. Their price was competitive so we decided to hire them. And we’re so glad we did. We was so happy with the results of our master bathroom that we also hired them to renovate our kitchen. The renovations came out so nice. The team was very knowledgeable, they answered our questions and delivered as promised. I already recommended them to my friends. Thank you to Milano of Richmondtown. It’s hard to find a reliable let alone any good contractors these days.

Had them come in and re-do our kitchen at the recommendation of our interior designer. Nice folks, easy to work with but it’s shocking how badly they messed up our floor. Needed a wood floor installed to match the original 1940s that was there. The first attempt was 95% good and after discussion they made good on repairing the mistakes. I got the “I’ll be here the whole day to oversee to make sure they don’t mess it up!”
Then they brought in the local high school vo-tech club to practice on my floors. I have visible 2 inch pieces of wood. They nailed directly thru the TOP of each board. I have probably a dozen floor boards that were installed that way. They damaged already existing flooring and didn’t repair it. And then they didn’t even move the stove and refrigerator out to stain underneath. “I know your wife loves them I didn’t want to damage them by moving them because they’re so expensive!” Yeah, okay. And his whole crew stood there and didn’t say a thing. They were smart enough to actually stain the floor before I could see the flooring so that I knew what a HUGE hassle it was going to be to do the floors a third time. It’s a ranch house and the wood floors go through the whole house so if I want the kitchen done again the whole house has to be done again. Smart on his part- he just wore me down. A complete disaster if ever there was one. What was I gonna do, give them a THIRD try?!?
For some reason I paid in full and the owner had the gaul, in front of his wife and employees, to tell me he’d like to send a photographer over so he can submit our kitchen for a design award. That was the icing on the poop cake. Real classy.
The kitchen is ABSOLUTELY beautiful otherwise, and I hate waking into it every day. It’ll make us a killing when we sell the house. Funny thing is, we never talked of selling the place before this happened.
