Well worth my time, every time! My stylist cares to understand my wants and needs. He is an extremely educated colorist and a highly experienced stylist. The salons support staff is engaging, professional, and courteous. A World class state of the art salon whose owners respect of their staff and clients alike is evident the moment you enter the salon! I have family and friends who’ve also had the pleasure as they are clients too; I would highly recommend!
Hair type: I have curly hair. Originally short and blown out. My stylist has grown with me over the years of changing hair styles. Always choosing a shape or style complimentary to me.
Stylist: Tom

Outstanding salon. First the salon itself is so pretty, clean and has a nice atmosphere. My appointments with Jen have been amazing. I’m transitioning back from brunette back to blonde and my hair is not only looking good but also feeling good. I absolutely love my results, highly recommend!

Salon Meraki owned by Shane and Jen, is well deserving of the title best salon in Staten Island. As a client of theirs I want you to know what it’s like to receive a Meraki experience….When you walk through the door, you are always greeted by welcoming staff. As you relax in the front lounge, You are presented with a fragrant warm towel to wash the day away, and an extensive refreshment menu to begin your experience. Then when you’re led into the salon by an assistant you are immediately WOWED by the state of the art appointments that encompass every inch of the salon…the beautiful well lit stations, the comfortable chairs, the hairdryers suspended in the air ….you pass by the refreshment bar, the color bar, the make up station the eyelash and eyebrow salon, there are dressing rooms for your convenience and so many more amenities, too many to list. You’ll Just have to come and see them for yourself….Then you relax on a reclining lounger with a warm towel behind ur neck, to have your hair and scalp pampered with top shelf products …the uniqueness of this salon is the many different techniques and service’s they offer a client. Three or four different types of extensions, maybe more? A magnitude of different color techniques, and applications, elegant up dos and beautiful cuts. If you can think it they can do it. They are always searching and upgrading their services for their clients, bringing us all the latest and most advanced technics in the industry. They will never disappoint you, even if they have to stay there all night to make you satisfied and happy, trust me I know! It amazes me how Jen Christie one of the owners, takes the time to train each, and everyone of their stylists, giving them the knowledge, training and the opportunity of learning through her own 30 years of experience, she has nurtured and taught these stylists to be just as high standard and excellent as she is. When you sit in their chairs you have the feeling of confidence that you’re walking out more beautiful than when you walked in…But I really have to admit the refreshment bar is amazing…I could never decide whether I love the strawberry mint water better than the cucumber lemon water and I have to say their cappuccino is absolutely delicious. Come and see for yourself what a wonderful experience you get when you walk through the doors of Salon Meraki. If you’re ready to get an amazing pampering experience from the Best Salon on Staten Island, Then make an appointment and let Salon Meraki do the rest…I am a very satisfied customer and extremely happy that I found Salon Meraki , I know you will be too!

This is the worst hair salon on all over New York. I took a friend and the hairstylist screwed her hair. Very racist stylist. If you have a dark skin color stay away from this place. Her stylist was JEN

I don't usually write such glowing reviews, but I had to share my experience. Today was my first time going to Meraki. I was searching for a new salon because I was unhappy with my usual place. I found Meraki on Google and decided to give it a try.
I honestly could not believe my experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a celebrity. They were welcoming and so nice. They offered me a drink from their menu, and I sat on a really comfortable couch in a very pleasant area (I was early). Someone escorted me inside to meet my hairstylist, Leslie. Leslie listened to what I wanted and made excellent suggestions. She was absolutely fabulous! I went from having long, dry hair with gray roots to a healthy, bouncy, short style with no grays! My sister told me I looked ten years younger.
Everyone, from the shampooist to the person who waxed my eyebrows, was incredibly nice and sociable. They kept asking me if I wanted anything and made me feel very comfortable. The place itself is really nice. The décor was beautiful and very modern. It was a warm and comfortable environment.
I wasn't used to this level of professionalism and attention. My former salon was nowhere near the experience I had at Meraki, and they are popular on Staten Island (I won't mention their name, but they could use some lessons on how to treat customers).
Everyone needs to try Meraki. I promise you won't be disappointed. I left looking like a different person, and the cost was incredibly reasonable. Ask for Leslie. She's amazing!
Thank you, Meraki, for treating me so well. You have a customer for life.

Never going back after going for a trim and saw she cut my hair uneven.
4.20.24- Saw they posted a long-winded reply (more like a novel) to my review crying their stylists undergo training- perhaps a vision test is more in oder. And that i didnt instantly post a review? I'll get to it when i decide to.
A simple trim done so uneven that bc my hair grows slow months later is still drastically uneven. Then I feel she acted entitled as if she deserved more than the 20% tip given knowing it wasn't correct bc I pointed it out & asked her why this like this at the time, when that is the going rate, quite generous considering the service & their salon is far from what i would consider as upscale.
What an uncomfortable experience. Especially after the ridiculous response. Nope, never again...
