    Deceptive Sales Tactics - Avoid Staten Island Honda!

    I recently had a disappointing experience with Staten Island Honda while trying to purchase a certified pre-owned HR-V. The price listed on their website seemed fair, but things quickly took a turn when I called to inquire.

    The operator, masquerading as a sales representative, insisted I visit the dealership to discuss the vehicle, claiming it was selling quickly. Mam, it wasn’t sold and still not sold lol. However, I could see on CarGurus that the car had been sitting on their lot for a while. When I asked to speak with a salesperson or manager, I was left on hold indefinitely.

    A friend in the industry warned me that this pushy behavior often indicates the listed price isn't the actual price, and that they'll waste my time adding unnecessary extras. I don’t fall for it.

    I'm shocked that Yelp shows a 1.8/5 rating, while Google reviews are suspiciously high at 4.3/5. I ended up purchasing a Tesla instead, and I'm glad I avoided Staten Island Honda's nonsense.

    To the dealership: remember, customers come first! Without us, you wouldn't be in business. Treat us with respect and transparency. Until then, I'll advise others to take their business elsewhere.

    My family and I came on a busy Labor Day weekend and were still taken care of. Eugene was incredibly helpful and always made sure we were comfortable. Any questions or concerns we’d had, he was on top of it. We found an amazing car that day and we will be coming back for future cars.
