Blow Lounge is a clean, comfortable, and bright space that is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The staff is described as the best, with kind, friendly, talented, amazing, professional, and super nice stylists. They are also personable and accommodating, making clients feel like important clients and friends. The salon offers blowouts, cuts, color, and wedding updos. Their signature beach waves stay in for days and are created with a curling iron. Appointments take an hour or less, especially if hair is pre-washed. Customers highlight the amazing price and great value, noting the service is reasonably priced compared to other places. Many clients visit every week or several times a month, highly recommend the salon, and refer friends and family. The overall experience is consistently happy and fun.
Gina is not only a talented hairstylist for adults but she does kids’ cuts as well! My four-year-old son is autistic and has huge meltdowns when he gets his hair cut. It is always a stressful event. However, I took him to Gina for a haircut this past weekend and this time he was calm and he actually enjoyed the experience! I couldn’t believe it! She was able to keep him calm, talk with him through the cut and had toys for him to play with. Gina has a warm and soothing personality and is amazing with kids! Her salon is peaceful and inviting as well. This place is a hidden gem in Staten Island and I highly recommend it for both kids and adults!
I was there today and my hair was colored by Gina. She is so patient and takes her time. She is an expert at what she does and my color was beautiful with the perfect face framing caramel highlights. The atmosphere is calm and I walked out feeling confident and beautiful.
I loved my experience here!! Gina and the staff are literally the sweetest, they make you feel so comfortable the second you walk in. Gina really takes her time and makes sure everything comes out exactly how you want. My hair turned out sooo good. You can tell she actually cares about her work and pays attention to every little detail.
They also offer both hair and makeup services, which is such a plus if you’re getting ready for an event or just want everything done in one place.
