Do not buy comport maker heat pump or any products from them. The system failed. It stopped working after 5 years when they put on my invoice 10 years warranty. This is a lie. I called the contractor and the manufacturer. They both are irresponsible and unresponsive.

I bought a Comfort Maker heat pump about a year and a half ago. Labor warranty is only 12 months. Just after 1 year, the compressor blew! I had to pay $1100 in labor to repair the unit. The overheated compressor also took out the electrical service panel on the wall. A few months after that, the condenser valve seized. That's going to cost another $700+ in labor. During the hottest part of the summer, I was without a/c for a week. Now during the coolest winter we've had in over 30 years, I've been without heat for over 2 weeks!!! Apparently, the part I need isn't available anywhere in the country. I've called and written to the manufacturer but to no avail. This unit has cost me over $2000 in labor and it's not even 2 years old. I can only imagine how much more this piece of junk will cost over the next few years? Unless you like alot of grief in your life, DO NOT BUY A COMFORT MAKER!!!

One of the worse mistakes was to hire Tony (the owner) and his crew, they installed a new central heating and air conditioning in our home, the unit upstairs has not worked and continues to not work, the materials he used said not for heating when we asked him to replace them he replaced them with cheap piping, horrible service, completely unreliable, absolutely a disappointment. I do not recomes this business and will never ever recommend it. Every time you contact him somehow a member of his family died or is very sick, we understand things happen but also when you start a job you must finish it as a professional, however not surprised since he is not a professional. We still are finding things he didn't do right, including filters, he installed our units with no fielders??? That's just crazy! That's the reason why I decided to finally post this review so that nobody else will fall in his trap or this company's trap.
