Recently, during the most difficult time of my life, Yorktown Funeral Home owners and staff were such an incredible support. They managed to be consummate professionals, while at the same time being so kind, compassionate, and caring.They helped tremendously through the planning, had features in place to make things easier for our family, told us what we could expect during the services, and were so gentle and attentive throughout the entire process.After the services were over, I received even more support and care including phone calls and texts, just checking in to see how my family and I were doing. Yorktown funeral home went above and beyond for our unexpected loss of my mother. They made her final rest beautiful. They were kind, compassionate, professional, etc. They were beyond accommodating and patient with us as we have never done this before and we were just lost and confused. My dad called quite a few times due to his grief and wanting to make my moms final time perfect and they handled every single phone call with compassion and never made him feel like a burden. They answered all of our questions and communicated with us fully. Thank you Yorktown funeral home for what you did for us during one of our darkest times.
We used the services for our mom's arrangements 4 years ago and a few weeks ago when we lost our dad. On both occasions, we were treated with kindness and our parents were treated with respect.
