I walked in and all the barbers were busy and doing some fine work on their clients’ hair. There was an elderly man, a young man and a middle aged man all getting a cut and they all looked fantastic. My son has super curly hair and it had been two months since our last trip to the barber shop, the poor kid needed it sheared off at that point. The barber who helped us was so sweet, he made my son a balloon animal and knew exactly how to care for his hair and even taught me how to maintain it so we didn’t have to have a repeat of what he came in with. So full disclosure I have never actually gotten my sons cut here. But the reason for the 5 stars is last week we were leaving the restaurant next door and I brought my son in just to check out the barber shop. He is 4 and since he was 2 he had a traumatic experience and would meltdown during haircuts. I mean full on I would have to hold his hands and legs for a haircut and slowly I have been getting him comfortable with them at the kids salon. But he still wouldn’t do buzzers or wear the cape. This was my first time at this shop and I have to say overall one of the best experience’s I’ve had at a Barbor shop in years. The whole staff is super friendly, especially jay who did my cut was attentive to what I wanted done. He has a real passion for his profession, this will be my go to shop from now on.
