Such a pleasant experience. Lavida was easygoing, friendly, and knowledgeable. She made me feel right at home. She was very thorough and my hair came out amazing. I’d prefer a slightly softer hold to the gel than what she used, however, she instructed me how to achieve that while still using the same product. I can’t wait to try it myself! I will definitely be returning.

The best salon experience ever. I was feeling anxious, excited, and nervous because I was doing the big chop. Lavida is the best at what she does. She was amazing, professional, knowledgeable, I can go on and on, but by the time she was done, I had tears in my eyes because I was so happy with what she had done with my hair. I also left confident because she let me know exactly what I needed to take care of my hair moving forward. Lavida made the experience of doing the big chop so painless and I left Coiled feeling amazing. I will definitely be back for a shaping in a few months. New home for my hair is Coiled. This is the place to go for the BEST curly hair expert upstate NY. And I have personally done hair myself for 21 years. Lavida is warm, so enjoyable to talk to, very down to earth, and a beautiful person. God bless her and her mission to build “Community” while she makes you beautiful and educates you about your hair. She is the whole package!!!!
