Absolutely awful! I had an appt for my daughter with Linda. No one acknowledged us when we walked in. Linda gave such nasty looks to everyone that walked in and complained that she didn’t want to be there and she wasn’t going to cut anyone else’s hair with the worst attitude. It wasn’t late, it was 3:30. I waited another half hour for her to be done with her client. Then she proceeded to tell the walk in that just got there to sit in the chair before us. We ended up walking out because the whole thing made us uncomfortable and my daughter said she didn’t want the mean old lady to cut her hair anymore bc she was scary. She was so excited to get her haircut but will never go to sayville lemon tree again even though we live down the block. The lemon tree in Holbrook is much nicer with people who actually smile when you walk in and acknowledge you. Word of advice: get rid of Linda, she’s bringing this business down and she obviously doesn’t want to be there. If I didn’t have my daughter with me, I wouldn’t have kept my mouth shut, so unbelievably rude and miserable she is.

Lemon tree in Sayville has the MOST rude staff you will ever encounter at a salon. They don’t want to be there to service you and you can tell. They make zero effort to welcome you, smile or even acknowledge your presence when you walk in. I brought my daughter in for a haircut and a beginner stylist cut her hair with her hands shaking. I was very understanding and kind and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. After 45 minutes of my child’s hair getting shorter and shorter than the length I had requested (due to the stylist having to even out her cutting), I gently pointed out how one side was still 2 inches shorter than the other in the front and totally uneven. To which a senior stylist next to us practically shoved the junior stylist out of the way and took over. She began fixing my daughter’s hair without a word, except to criticize my child for moving her head and blaming that on the uneven cut. Mind you, my sweet six year old sat staring straight ahead for 45 minutes without moving a muscle and this woman blamed the original stylist’s. inexperience on my child. Never will I return again. Her hair is still uneven and has to be fixed. A waste of money and time. This salon should have entirely new staff.

They do a horrible lady’s haircut. Chopped up, uneven, found a hunk cut out in the back. They should go back to school and relearn cutting, (at least). Wouldn’t recommend at all.

My daughter and I went for haircuts in Sayville today with Judy Y. and Linda D. Neither one of us were happy with the results. This is the second time I requested an angled bob and got a straight cut. My daughters haircut is uneven one side is longer then the other. I do not recommend this salon.
