We had Jim Cappola come a few months ago to fix a very frustrating & unusual electrical issue that we put up with for over a year. Certain lights in our home would just decide to go out whenever they had a mind to & come back on months later, or weeks.....we just never knew when it would go out, how long it would go out, stay out or come back on. Just crazy insane! Drove us nuts; that is until Jim came. He was professional, personable, determined, committed & fair. He returned my husbands call quickly & was here in no time & he was on time. He tried many things, but to cut to the chase: HE FIXED IT & WE'VE NEVER HAD AN ISSUE SINCE! This guy is fantastic. You can't go wrong with Jim Cappola. If we have an electrical issue, he is the one we're calling! Thank you, Jim, you rock.

Initially contacted Jim when we encountered faulty wiring connections in the house we purchased which were never corrected by the previous owners (their second home). Jim immediately diagnosed where the wiring was incorrect and fixed the problems. Subsequently with a significant project in the basement where we’re installing a sauna, dressing area, shower, etc. we contacted Jim again. He installed a needed supplemental control panel to handle the 240v heater, and wired up 3 new plugs, two sconces, and he moved a ceiling light. The work was done easily in a day and was so neat one couldn’t tell where the new wiring was.

Jim is a great person and electrician. We had an ongoing issue with the GFI outlets inside and outside our home. In the past, (with other electricians) the GFI's stopped working and were replaced.Jim didn't just replace the GFI's, he got to the source of the problem and fixed it. The quality of his work is excellent. He was able to schedule us quickly. He showed up on time, cleaned up after himself, used great quality materials and was very pleasant to work with. I contacted Jim with an electrical issue which came up very quickly. It was not an emergency but I did call after hours as I did not have an electrician and wanted to resolve the problem ASAP. Jim called back promptly and let me know his availability, which was within 24 hours. Jim showed up as scheduled, quickly diagnosed the problem and resolved the issue. He was very thorough in his diagnostics and made sure that here were no additional issues which needed to be addressed prior to leaving. I would recommend Jim Coppola without reservation for any electrical work and will make sure to call him if I have any other issues at my home.
