Dr. Mario Vezza is one of the most amazing veterinarians I could ever imagine. He saved my Pomeranian‘s life.

Seriously the worst vet ever. My cat had surgery to remove teeth and he left stitches in cats mouth. When I asked for records, he refused to give them. There is something wrong with this man. I’m referring to the senior Mario Vezza.
*response to their response: It was years ago and under a different last name. That is not the point. The point is that you had the records and would not give them. I see here you’ve done that to others. It’s awful. Pretty sure the owner, Senior Dr. Vezza has a serious personality disorder in my opinion

I am sitting here grieving the loss of my beloved little cat, Grey, who passed yesterday. I am still trying to find my footing in the middle of this overwhelming, leveling grief, and one of the few things that feels grounding right now is expressing my gratitude to Roslyn Village Veterinary Center for the extraordinary care they gave to both my cat and to me.

Grey was diagnosed with terminal cancer in October, and over the past two months the entire focus was on comfort and quality of life. From the very beginning, every single person at this practice—from the administrative staff to the veterinary technicians to the doctors—treated us with compassion, patience, and genuine kindness. Phone calls were always returned, questions were answered thoughtfully, and I was never made to feel rushed, dismissed, or alone during an incredibly painful journey.

Dr. Vezza and his son, both veterinarians, cared for Grey with remarkable honesty, empathy, and humanity. They guided me through every step with clarity and grace, never pushing unnecessary treatments or services, and always centering decisions on what was best for my cat and what I could emotionally handle. Their calm presence and steady guidance meant more to me than I can possibly express.

The veterinary technicians were gentle, attentive, and deeply compassionate throughout the entire process. Their quiet reassurance, tenderness toward Grey, and kindness toward me during moments of profound vulnerability will stay with me forever. The administrative staff was equally wonderful—supportive, responsive, and accommodating during one of the hardest periods of my life.

The office itself is beautiful—newly renovated, spotless, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology—but what truly sets Roslyn Village Veterinary Center apart is the people. The integrity, communication, and compassion shown by the entire team is rare and invaluable.

I own a local dog walking and pet sitting business, and I recommend Roslyn Village Veterinary Center to my clients without hesitation and without reservation. I will continue to do so wholeheartedly.

This was my first experience having to put a pet to sleep, and it was one of the worst days of my life. The care, dignity, and support they provided helped carry me through something I never imagined facing. They cared not only for my cat, but for me, when I needed it most.

It’s an amazing place. All the doctors are so caring and kind and the staff is top-notch.

From the moment I walked into Roslyn Village Veterinarian, I knew I had found a special place for Stormi my Akita. The reception staff, particularly Meg and Ashleigh, greeted us with warmth and genuine enthusiasm. The office itself is beautiful, spotless, welcoming, and feels more like a cozy, caring environment. Bianca the Vet Assistant took great care of Stormi, taking her time to get to know her, even though Stormi was very reluctant. Our visit with Dr. Vezza was truly exceptional. Not only did he demonstrate incredible expertise and thoroughness in his examination, but he also took the time to explain every detail of Stormi's condition and treatment options with clarity and patience. Dr. Vezza sat on the floor with her to make her feel comfortable, which was such a small gesture that meant the world to me. It was clear that he is not just a skilled veterinarian but a true animal lover who treats his patients with a level of compassion that is unmatched.

Not sure what's with these negative reviews are about but I just had my first experience with Dr Vezza. I took my lab here when I couldn't get into my own vet. He was extremely thorough & found things my vet missed. He helped my Lab through a horrific experiences of a toxic reaction to something. She had to be kept overnight & they took excellent care of my baby. We appreciate everything Dr Vezza and his crew has done. 8/19/25

I really cannot say enough good things about this Vets office. Dr. Vezza and his staff treat my pets with such kindness and they really care about their overall welfare when it comes to treatment plans. I highly recommend them, especially if you are looking for a vets office that treats your pets as if they were their own.

Very nice professionally run operation. Getting into the parking lot is a little difficult if you're coming from the north; you have to wait until cars on Mineola Avenue let you make a left. But the vets are wonderful and very caring toward our pet
