Side Kicks Karate & Wellness is a family-owned business serving the Utica/Rome area, offering a safe and comfortable environment for students of all ages to learn martial arts and develop important life skills. With over 25 years of experience working with children, the staff provides a family-oriented experience that goes beyond physical karate, teaching discipline, respect, determination, and leadership. My son has been coming to side kicks for officially a year now and we absolutely love them! They make you feel as if you are family and help teach and install confidence and strength in your child(ren)! They truly show the true “YES I CAN” attitude. Every month they teach your child a new character trait and teach them how to be that trait. For example one month was respect and they sat down with the kids and explained ways on how to not only respect themselves but to other peers and parents.
