“My son has been coming to side kicks for officially a year now and we absolutely love them! They make you feel as if you are family and help teach and install confidence and strength in your child(ren)! They truly show the true “YES I CAN” attitude. Every month they teach your child a new character trait and teach them how to be that trait. For example one month was respect and they sat down with the kids and explained ways on how to not only respect themselves but to other peers and parents. They teach self defense as well as strength, courage and discipline. Your child is learning so much more than just karate skills. When my son started he was always getting bullied and lacked self confidence and just wasn’t in a good space and throughout this year he’s blossomed so much already and he’s even learning about dedication and effort because he practices 2x a week and he puts his all into his practices even when he’s not feeling his best. They are amazing and I couldn’t recommend them enough! They even work with autistic children. That’s one of the reasons why I chose to try them in the first place because my son is autistic.“
