First of all when I showed up the lady cutting my hair said she was scared to cut it so why are you even working at a haircut place if you’re scared to do your job I payed 100 dollars for the worst haircut I have ever had in my entire life including the super cut days she left half of my head with super long hairs not even cut at all and then cut the other side so it’s just the most uncomfortable uneven thing ever.

Great haircut, but bait-and-switch on the price. To say one thing on your website and then charge 50% more at the cash register is just plain wrong.

Jerome doesn’t know how to cut hair and should be fired. He will preach how “communication is key” at least 10 times during your session, not follow through on what you ask him to do, then give you the same botched cut he gives everyone else. Gave scratches on the back of my neck when he used a straight razor. If you guys (management) try to take this down, which I know you do, at least fire him first. No discount taken off, either. The best thing they could say was “Your hair will grow back quickly!” I’d rather throw $50 in the garbage and buzz my hair than go back to this place. There are many positive reviews here, so if you still feel compelled to go, request to NOT get Jerome! Also, it seems like I REALLY dodged a bullet! Look up Jerome Phillips from Rochester!

My son had an appointment with Jerome. He showed a photo of himself after a cut at another salon, with instructions to do the same. Not even close. It was as if no instructions were given and no photo shared. The cut was so off and so much shorter than desired that remediation by a more experienced stylist could not yield the requested result. Consolation with the bromide "you are young, it will grow back," was of little relief. A suggestion might be for them to stock souvenir baseball caps to give as consolation, instead! Lots and lots of caps!!

I have been coming off and on for a bit. Cleanliness is important and clearly a priority here. Seemless arrival by smiling courteous staff. My regular barber is on maternity leave and I couldn’t get down to see my regular stylist in DC this time. So, it was the luck of the draw. Vahid was kind, confident, and skilled. My husband had the privilege last month. I felt relaxed and safe with his recommendations. A really amazing experience. I will have a hard time going back to regular barber after sitting in Vahid’s chair. Highly recommend.

Received a good haircut here. I did have to wait nearly 20 minutes after my appointment time but the hair stylist had the decency to apologize.
