Haven't done business with the company, but around 12:25pm on 5/21/26 a truck on 490 East made it a point to speed up when I was trying to change lanes and was traveling over 70mph, took his foot off the gas. After I merged behind him and continued to change lanes to the left of him and he immediately puts his blinker on and merges in front of me, I merged over again to head to 390 North and he does the same thing AGAIN! He had so many opportunities to merge the 3 lanes he needed to. Fast forward to after taking the 390N exit I get in a lane to the right, and continue begining to pass himls rear bumper only for him to once again throw his blinker on and start merging in front of me bullying me to slow down and let him in. I get that being in a large vehicle like that comes with certain difficulties maneuvering in traffic but this was absolutely ridiculous especially considering all of this time he's driving 15+ miles over the speed limit with a complete disregard for anyone else's safety; driving a huge vehicle like that is abhorrent and could easily cause an accident and I see that I'm not the only person who has had a negative perception of the companies drivers handling on the road
Update: I called and spoke with Bob (the 2nd generation owner) after he responded to my review. Bob was incredibly receptive to what happened and expressed to me that he takes these things very seriously. He seemed very genuine when addressing the matter - thank you for taking the time to talk and address my concerns Bob!

Silvarole is the company that picks up for my employer. They have missed several scheduled appointments and no update is provided, until after we follow up. Not dependable or professional at all. My experience has not been a very good one.

The drivers employed by this company are not good. Was stuck behind one camped in the left lane on 590s. I also hear them all the time on Hylan downshifting and creating that horrible noise.

I have not directly interacted with the company, their trucks appear well maintained and they seem pretty busy. My question is why do the trucks need straight, no muffler exhaust stacks? Here on Route 14 you can hear them coming for at least two miles and another two after they pass. The hills are the worst. State signs are posted for "91 decibel limits" and go ignored. When they go through Watkins Glen and come down the hill into the village it seems the drivers go out of their way to make as much noise as possible, even in Starkey at the RR crossing and hill they ride the Jake brakes all day long making a huge amount of noise, again with straight exhaust stacks. 95% of the rigs driving on Route 14 don't make this amount of noise, why does Silvarole think they can all week long? Come on, get these trucks DOT legal and be considerate of those who live in the country and don't want to hear this excessive noise all day long! And the "for Safety because they hear us coming" excuse is not true.
