Hopefully the many issues can be resolved. Like breaking multiple Patient bill of rights. Refusing medical records, to power of attorney , even with lawyer approved documents to get such records. Lack of medical care that resulted in surgery , not rotating an immobile patient ever to prevent bed sores. Causing kidney failure due to lack of fluids. The list can go on . The lack of professionalism and ethical standards are not there. This is what needs to be addressed in this hospital.
BEWARE!!! This 'doctor' Matthew Steele Battaglia is giving ER patients psych meds without consulting the patient! Schizophrenic meds are NOT pain medications! Do not take medication this man orders! HOW has NY STATE not gotten involved? He needs to be investigated! Read other reviews if you don't believe me! Know what you’re taking! Ask questions!
ALL Rochester hospitals would rate as the worst I have ever seen while studying in 30 country. Personal experiences at RGH involved lots of neglect, trauma, gross HIPPA ignorance, great discomfort and total lack of concern or compassion. I thought they were going to let me die seriously and without remorse. Food is the worst, beds completely uncomfortable and never changed even when I peed myself after two days without a bathroom. Add humiliation to my experience. Patients are slabs of meat with no privacy, updates, comfort, quality of care or explanations. Go to some third world countries if you want caring people. Not Rochester MY.
