Rochester Eye Associates (REA) is an eye care center that provides detailed and thorough examinations. They use an online system to manage patient records, which eliminates the need for filling out lengthy paper forms. The offices are clean and well-maintained, and appointments are generally efficient with minimal wait times between procedures.
Dr. Albert, one of the optometrists at REA, is known for explaining procedures and findings in detail, using language that is easy for laypeople to understand. She treats patients as partners in their health and takes the time to answer any questions or concerns they may have. She is also knowledgeable about degenerative conditions that may impact vision and provides guidance on when to schedule appointments between annual exams.
The staff at REA, including the technicians, are professional and kind. However, some patients may experience a clash of personalities with certain staff members, as one reviewer mentioned.
REA does not pressure patients to use their in-house eyewear services, and they were able to accommodate a new patient who was having difficulty finding an appointment elsewhere. Overall, REA offers a pleasant and efficient experience for annual eye exams.
Had a lovely appointment today. Dakota did my eye exam and he was so personable and knowledgeable, this practice is lucky to have him! Dr. Nally was also very easy going and gave me lots of detailed options for my treatment plan which I always appreciate. All of the staff is so friendly and I highly recommend!
I am not understanding the negative reviews. I have been coming here for years and find everyone very nice and the care is wonderful. It is so convenient having optical right there, I come out of my appt and order my glasses which come in timely. They are so helpful.
I have just switched to this place after my insurance stopped covering my previous eye doctor. I have only visited the glasses department, but Allen was truly incredible. He was able to answer ANY question I had. He took the time to thoroughly explain concepts that were unfamiliar to me and explained every step along the way AND why, which speaks to his strengths as a high quality provider. Allen displayed exemplary customer service and was an absolute joy to work with. I cannot recommend him and this place enough!!!!!
