Martial Arts America teaches karate in a fun and engaging way for kids. My daughter has learned discipline and has gained confidence since she started several years ago. We didn’t know how far she would go, but she’s earning her way up the belt levels and will be a black belt before we know it. She loves the summer camps too.
I highly recommend these dojos. We’ve been to Penfield and Brighton and both are great!

Nora loves MAA! Watching her progression from white belt to soon to be orange belt has been great. Being at the dojo with her classmates, practicing and learning is the highlight of her week. She leaves with such energy wanting to learn more about karate. Thank you!

It doesn't get any better than this. Originally signed our child up to help with their wandering mind. 6 years and many advancements later, the transformation they have gone through with both mental and physical strength is amazing . The Senseis are fantastic and extremely engaging with anyone of any age. With multiple group outings throughout the year, you get to meet and have fun with the rest of the family from the other dojos. We cannot recommend this school enough.

Our 6 year old Son, Weston, has been attending Martial Arts of America classes for 3 years. He says the classes are really fun! Especially when they play Ninja Dodgeball. Weston has learned so much about Karate and life skills in general here and hopes to achieve in earning a black belt one day!

We love MAA! All the senseis have good rapport with our kids; they strike a good balance of fun, discipline, attention, and flexibility.
