BEWARE!!!! Do NOT pay anything up front!!! They took $300 cash from our elderly mother to repair a roof leak, they removed a little snow and put a CHEAP tarp on roof, left with her money and said they would return when the weather got a little better. Months went by weather was just fine for a patch job, she called repeatedly and NO response! The tarp did not stop the leaking and now she has MORE damage. We had to find someone else who will show up , so called and asked for a refund or at least partial. They screamed at a 79 year old and was so rude to her. Sealing gutters to prevent drips at corners. Work allegedly done Dec 2. Work is not complete. He automatically took the rest of the money using my credit card that I gave for downpayment. I have called at least 8 times. Answering machine works but no one is returning the calls. His proposal says "two year guarantee on work." He was recommended by a large company that didn't do small jobs - like mine. I notified them right away!I might send a certified letter and think or small claims court.

No stars if that is possible (and it's not). Owner's son came to do gutters. My husband called him to see how the work was going and to say that he was coming to the house to pay him. When he got there, the owner's son was not there. My husband called him and he said, "I don't want your f------*&*^%^%^* money! It was the weirdest thing. My husband then called the owner and the owner said he would call my husband back and never did. Not a good experience. I wish my husband had checked the reviews before scheduling the work.
