This barbershop truly made me happy. After several disappointing experiences elsewhere, I decided to walk in here just to give it a try — and I’m so glad I did. He followed the photo I showed and the instructions I gave, and the result was exactly what I wanted.
If I ever visit Rochester again, I’ll definitely come back. Thank you for always giving me a clean and consistent cut every time, with no ups and downs. Really appreciate your work.
I just got my haircut by Stefan at GVIII, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Even though he’s new to the shop, his skill and attention to detail are on point. You can tell he really takes pride in his work and listens to exactly what you want. The fade was clean, the lineup was sharp, and the whole vibe was professional but relaxed.

GVIII Barber on Park Ave is the place to be. It’s conveniently located, always vibrant, and it’s a nice perk that Cafe Sasso and Refresh Smoothie are close by!
Nick takes his time - he’d rather be 5 minutes behind and give you the cut you want, than rush to squeeze more people in! He always welcomes me with a smile and remembers our last conversation as if I came in yesterday.
It is totally worth the $40 (which seems about average if you’re looking for something other than a buzz cut)!
