Guy is by far, the most exceptional finisher - probably in the entire Northeast, if not the whole country!. His ability to synthesize ones wishes in a finish, whether layered or distressed, on any species of wood is unsurpassed. After 36 years in the business myself, I can say he is the very best!
Do yourself a favor and call Guy ---- he is the definition of professional. He completed a project in our basement which is nothing short of fantastic. His work is amazing and we could not be happier with the results. We are forever a customer!
I have a Stickley coffee table that was damaged by hot green tea leaving a large white haze over 1/3 of the top of the table and some areas on the shelf below. It is one of my favorite pieces of furniture. I was devastated and wanted it restored to its original condition. Having no experience getting a piece refinished, I turned to the web combing over sites and reviews. I came upon Artisan's site and it seemed to be someone who cherished this type of work. My intuition proved true. The owner, Guy, was easy to work with and I am more than pleased with the finished restoration.
