Great friends to have in the plumbing industry as now I feel a definite quality connection to Gil Meyerwitz and top man Cleaver. As stated a multitude of times (I feel it echoing from different times in my life that I've said that, bringing that solliquie to an official end as of -- Now) I do highly dislike - and in some cases, detest big box stores - however, I have made a purchase or two in dire circumstances. I'm a phasing out landlord, sold most of what the fam accumulated from granddaddy's Bensonhurst brownstones, deep nowhere Nassau (at the time), boogie down Jamaica east and a little west - makes me think of the Hitchcock movie North by Northwest - and I think all of there properties were slightly haunted - because it's just explain so much. We had contractors before H D arrived and laid waste to my beloved bowling alley - oh the birthday parties, the 4 person GAUNTLET video game, the crashing of the pins the moment you stepped inside - it was a moment, very exciting - we were ready to roll. The big box stores cater to a different customer, in terms of plumbing, it's logical to order the day prior and have the order delivered the next day, but I'm break - fix now. If it breaks, I got to have it fixed now. This is why Gil is great, they get me the right things without chasing orange and blue shirts that tell me "it's not my department". So I bought more - my tenant is an amazing builder, so I wave rent when I need to as he's gotta be at least a $125.00 an hour guy - and so I redid the basement plumbing with a new vanity and seperation of valves in the ceiling - the 1970s pink and white tile STAYS, I think it's really neat.
