“I grew disappointed in my previous salon so I looked up other places in the area and found Mellan. I came in this afternoon after calling and getting an appointment. I have very short hair, so there's not a lot to cut. But since it's short, it has to be cut nicely to compliment my face shape otherwise it can be really unflattering. I worked with Monica and she was really great. She looked at a couple of pictures that I had and patiently listened to me explain how my hair used to look, and what I wanted it to look like in the future. I am very happy with how my hair turned out. It looks like the styles that I showed her and compliments my face shape. She took the time to carefully check it from all angles (which my old salon did not do). Working with a new stylist can sometimes feel intimidating, but it was a really friendly and pleasant experience. I will definitely come back. Currently cash only.“
