“When we returned from a long trip in November to find that our 23-year-old roof was leaking, the timing couldn’t have been worse. Winter was just around the corner and we had to start the process of finding a roofer from scratch. Not only that, but we had to coordinate the removal and reinstallation of a roof-full of solar panels in conjunction with putting on the new roof.We knew it wasn’t going to be easy or quick, that there could be weather delays, that guys would have to be out there working in the freezing cold. And the holidays were coming. Not ideal.After interviewing and getting quotes from a half dozen contractors, we had a clear, hands-down winner with Eli Construction. They’d come highly recommended from a friend, and Ron Gomez, the manager with whom we met to get a quote, was smart, friendly, confident, professional, and knowledgeable — a guy who we felt was a problem-solver who would make this process as painless as possible.We were absolutely right, and we’re so glad that we chose Eli, and so glad we got to work with Ron.Ron was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was always cheerful, responsive, and helpful. He communicated well. He delivered on his promises. He worked well with our solar company.
