I am visiting from out of town for the month and really need work on my left shoulder area and lower back. Looking up therapists I found Sequoia Massage, and her reviews were all great - and she did not disappoint! I think the way my session began made all the difference...she listened to me and consulted. The added bonus was that although I had some areas that needed attention, it was a fully relaxing experience. Felt the toxins drain away. Amazing how I could be in a good mood all week as a result. I'll be back next month and already have my next visit scheduled!

Lisa did an amazing job!! This was my first time ever going to her. She took her time talking with me to see what I kind of haircut I was looking for. The cut she gave me, was exactly what I was looking for. The establishment was extremely clean and the prices are very reasonable. Larry will be my go-to plumber moving forward. I appreciate the direct communication from my contractors. I’m not loving having to go through a desk person for answers and questions, not to say they aren’t capable, but I would love a detailed explanation and options. The process of adding another well tank as backup, thanks to the drought, felt very collaborative. Larry asked a bunch of questions, and I had a bunch of questions, for when he did come to do the work, the end result was artistic and premium. Even afterwards where some contractors just ghost you, Larry kept following up with us. Doing his own above and beyond research to find answers and solutions. I’ll be using him again for other plumbing needs. Thanks Larry, appreciate you sir.

I am absolutely thrilled with how Leatrice did my hair and makeup for a photoshoot! She listened to the look I wanted - neutral, natural, warm - and not only did she deliver, but she exceeded my expectations. I was so impressed that I asked her to style my hair as well. I'm so glad I did! She gave my straight hair a little boost of volume in a way that looked natural. And, the styling held for hours after the outdoor photoshoot as did the makeup! Win, win! I have no desire to work with anyone else for future shoots and styling needs. I can't wait to return.
Megan and Johnna did our hair and makeup for my wedding and were the best. Since we had 9 people who needed hair and makeup, I was worried about timing--but they brought assistants and got it all done, without feeling rushed, in less than 4 hours. They both (as well as their assistants) asked for constant feedback, were open to changes (and not judgy or annoying about them!), and were as helpful as could be. They were also fun to hang out with for the day. I've never looked or felt more beautiful, and I didn't have to think about or worry about my hair/makeup for the entire day because I knew it looked amazing.
Betty was wonderful! I went to Betty when she was in Manhattan and have been so happy to start visiting her again now that she is in Rhinebeck! Her reiki sessions are incredible. I haven't felt that relaxed in years! She is located in the village, so very convenient. Highly recommend coming to her for healing, but the facial is also incredible.

Phil is great. Do not buy a service contract through you lame oil provider. Phil is the ultimate bang for the buck repair and trouble shooting master. He shows up. He hangs in until the job is done and done correctly. I gave up on all of them - Botini, Nash brothers and the worst of them all- Maincare- Allied handles all my heating in the buildings now. Top notch.

Due to a miscommunication today during the snow storm, my mother’s driveway never got plowed. I called Frank Vosburgh’s cell phone and he answered right away and I explained the situation. He went right over to my mothers house and plowed it himself. Then he called me back to let me know it had been done. I am so thankful for him and his business to help my mother.

I had a great experience working with Rhinebeck Kitchen and Bath! Leigh Crawford was a fantastic design partner who pulled together my dream bathroom. She was able to perfectly capture the serene feel I was going for while also suggesting some modern accents that make the room look amazing all while sticking with my original budget! The entire staff, including Chris, Ryan and Bill were so kind, extremely communicative, did fantastic work and were just an overall pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend the team to anyone and hope to find more projects to collaborate in the future.
We worked with Stefanie from Hudson Valley Ceremony and had an absolutely amazing experience. From our first meeting months before our wedding, Stefanie made it clear that she would be there for us up until and during our wedding day. Nothing ever felt like a crisis for more than a few hours with Stefanie on the case - when our venue was sold to new owners and we had to find a new hotel, when we had to navigate getting a liquor license, when we were planning our wedding from across the country, Stefanie gave us quick responses and regular updates to make sure we felt calm and comfortable. She asked thoughtful questions about things we honestly wouldn't have thought about and gave advice when we had no idea how to answer them. She organized all of our independent vendors and everything went super smoothly on our wedding day (and if it didn't - we had no idea!) We were able to truly relax and enjoy a perfect wedding day knowing the whole time that Stefanie had our backs. Anyone who gets to work with her is so lucky!

I hadn't found a nail salon to my liking. There was always something missing every where I frequented. I went to Lili's Nail Salon. I've always had a great experience in the almost 2 years I've been going. The salon is always clean, neat, and it's very stylish. I go for a mani/pedi. I do not want nail polish. They do a fantastic job of cleaning up my nails and cuticles. They massage my legs and put lotion and a warm cloth in the end. The owner gives me my manicure. She is so warm and caring and it's always good to catch up with her. They are laid back but professional. It's a great atmosphere. I highly recommend Lili's Nail Salon!

I went in with decent positive mental attitude but I definitely had some doubts from my ortho and by the time I left I felt completely confident.

My first therapist was very professional of course but also made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I'd didn't realize how tense I had been since my accident.
She showed me some exercises and answered all these questions and just had a real good energy.
Very reassuring and I think some people really do just have that LITE healing energy
I'm actually excited about my recovery and the whole process that I began today. I started the exercises as soon as I got home.
So yeah. MOST -- definitely! 5 stars.
I'm going for full recovery and it's ok if it takes a bit..

Dr. Ross is a very talented and great dentist. Makes it easy to go to the dentist. I’m 76 years old and have been to many dentist. They don’t compare to Dr. Ross. No wonder he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Marie was phenomenal!! I came in after getting a bad haircut at a different shop, Marie seated me immediately, knew how to fix it, and got to work. On top of that she was so kind, so funny and clearly very talented. I appreciated her willingness to listen to what I needed, and her ability to follow through.
Before meeting Marie I was walking around wearing hats in shame of how bad the previous haircut was - but today I walked out of the shop with confidence!
My best friend and I have been traveling from NYC to upstate for what must be over two decades and, most often, inclusive of a visit to a variety of Barnstar events. The Annual Spring Antique Show in Rhinebeck is of particular interest and welcome diversion. Incredibly well-curated. Always, spectacularly replete with unique, much antique, artful, iconic pieces. Never disappoints. Rarely have we left a show empty-handed. Highly recommended event at a lovely, not to be missed time of the year in beautiful, upstate Rhinebeck, NY.

I have used Dave’s Tree service numerous times and recommend Dave and his team ALL the time to friends (and strangers !) Dave responds to SOS calls or texts promptly. Even after storms. No job is too small or too big. Branch blocking driveway, gone. Tree on barn, gone, with NO damage to roof. Prices are fair, his guys are professional and kind (especially if u have a friendly dog). There are so many reasons why you see so many signs on lawns and so many of his trucks on the road, he and his team are that good! And, he gives back to the community, which is always a big plus when choosing where to spend your money.
I went for the first time and really enjoyed my experience.. the salon was welcoming and helpful and did a great job ! I will definitely return!
