“So I’d like to tell you all about the wonderful experience I’m having at WellNest Studio. I’m in my 70’s and for various reasons have not been doing any exercise for over 5 years. I decided to take back my body so I could enjoy the next phase of my life - retirement!!! A friend told me about WellNest and I decided to give them a try. They’re located in the Peter Harris Plaza and are easy to get to from anywhere. I went in to check it out and met with owner Bill. I walked out all signed up for ten sessions with a Personal Trainer, Jason. I am so glad I took this chance. The gym itself is small and personal but has everything you need. Jason patiently listened while I whined about how I haven’t done anything for such a long time and that I had some ongoing physical issues that made me nervous. He developed a program taking all this into consideration and I’m now in the middle of my second ten sessions. I go twice weekly and Jason continues to listen to me whine and at the same time encourages me to keep going. I totally see a big difference in my abilities and am determined to let him get me to a point that I’m comfortable maintaining. I love that the trainers (Jason for me) listens every session to what I say and adjusts my workout accordingly. I can’t recommend this place or their staff enough. You won’t be sorry if you give it a try!!!“

“This place is magical in every way. The owner, Amy, and Otter, the resident Priestess, are the nicest and most welcoming people we met. We were on vacation in Troy and this shop was on my list of places to check out. Their selection is amazing!

They have everything from Oracle and Tarot decks to journals, crystals, apothecary items, decor-- you name it. The store is gorgeous and the prices are very reasonable. I was lucky enough to snag one of the Mystery Divination boxes and it was so much better than I even expected! I won't spoil the surprise but highly recommend you get one if they're in stock.

We loved it so much we went back for the Sound Bath event a few days later. That was also an incredible experience!

“I had an appointment for a deep tissue hot stone massage with Jeanette Brewer. I have had many professional massages over the years and have come to be cautious about my expectations. To say that my massage with Jeanette was the absolute best massage I have ever had just doesn't do it justice. The experience was nothing short of transcendent... so much so that I actually cried as I described it to my husband afterward. As I told Jeanette while I was leaving, it was everything I've wanted every massage I have ever had to be but never was.

My only feedback for Breathe is to consider some better sound proofing, increase the white noise in massage rooms, or maybe ask that patrons speak softly when in the main areas. I definitely found myself getting a little wrenched out of the meditative experience of the massage when the office phone would ring or other clients were in the main space chatting, as I could hear entire conversations. Also, I had some difficulty finding the building after dark - a light illuminating the sign outside may be helpful.
