About Retro Fitness
Retro Fitness is a gym in Queens that offers a variety of amenities, including state-of-the-art fitness equipment, group fitness classes, a Smoothie Bar, and a Pro Shop. The gym has recently undergone renovations, which have improved its appearance and organization. Members appreciate the addition of more squat machines on the second floor. The gym boasts a team of fantastic instructors, particularly praised is Instructor Evelyn for her efficiency and motivation. However, some members find the classes overcrowded, especially those led by Instructor Evelyn. There is a suggestion for more classes like Total Body, Tabata Abs, and Zumba on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Members enjoy the friendly staff, the working machines, and the convenient juice bar. The gym is clean, and the equipment is in good condition, particularly on weekends when it's less busy. The point system motivates members to visit the gym regularly, and some have seen improvements in their health, such as reduced hypertension issues.
This is the “Mecca of Retro Fitness”. Everyone here is genuinely friendly and welcoming. I’ve been to most Retro Fitness locations in Queens including Astoria and Forest Hills as well as Commack and Ronkonkoma in Long Island and I can confidently say this is the best one so far.
This gym is amazing, great verity of equipment. The dumbbells here go up to 120 lbs and lots of bench press here as well. Keysi was a very helpful staff member. My membership is worth it for the weights and wonderful treatment
I was hesitant to sign up for this gym due to the location and reviews. But I love this gym.
The staff is friendly, the machines are always working. I usually go early morning, always find parking, and I love the juice bar.
It’s my favorite gym so far. If you’re thinking about it just go for it!
